Apart from FANTASTIC CATS that is.
Takako Minekawa. This is pretty much all I'm listening to at the moment.

Kanye being Kanye
I don't think this was much of a stretch for him. Fans have whinged though and his site's just taken it down. Spike Jonze directs. Sublime....

I fell in love with a store...
I work at the end of Carnaby Street and sometimes forget I'm 2 minutes walk away from some of the best independent stores London has to offer. I mostly avoid mooching around the area as I will undoubtedly spend $$$ I dont have. But I did venture out this week with my trusty Chunky Panda (inventor of Kazoo-step...you wait...) and stumbled upon a peach of a store in the Newburgh Quarter.
LIFESTYLE BAZAAR.
Go check.
I want the entire Blau Blume tea set pleases.
(I hope the boy don't read this as a number of his presents are sourced here...)

♥ Christopher Decarnin ♥
so Paris saw the return of Balmain and the question on everyone's lips (I'm guessing) is HOW THE BEJESUS IS DECARNIN GOING TO CREATE A COLLECTION THAT EVEN EQUALS THE SUCCESS AND MAINSTREAM OSMOSIS OF S/S 09??
I obviously can't answer that but I did enjoy the show. A trend across many of this season's collections has been the military influence, coupled with burnished embellishments - lending from armour and hardware. The eponymous shoulders are back too with frayed dresses in texturised/studded rubber. Quite a dark collection for Summer season in terms of palette but I think its undoubtedly strong and has plenty to offer the high street diffusions. I can't help thinking SNAKES & SCALES are an influence too?
Here be my favourite pieces...
