whilst we're on the subject of video's..

check this out. If this doesn't do something to you then you're probably dead. Check yourself.

Beautiful piece of work, using true-fans/webcams across the world, and mountains of clever planning and editing I suspect. 18 months in the making if I remember correctly.

Track is Hibi No Neiro by band Sour, and direction is courtesy of Hal Kirkland, Masashi Kawamura, Magico Nakamura & Masayoshi Nakamura.

Eric Wareheim/Major Lazer

ok so its not "new" new, but seeing it on a 50ft screen at BUG last night certainly reaffirmed my love for this video. I don't think my mam would like it mind. Props!

MEAT-LOVE

Would I, though?? Could I?....

La Charcuterie have come up with this beautiful little set of meat-inspired stationary.

"Sure, yeah, gimme your card, erm....yeah...so, here's mine. Call me, yeah?".

WTWTA

(or Where The Wild Things Are to the seasoned obsessive). STILL can't wait. Even the extended trailer makes me cry, lordy knows what seeing the film itself will do. Anyway, the pop up shop recently opened in LA (at 15 Twenty), full of props, signed memorabilia and so forth - here's my pic of one of the signed photos of Alexander up for grabs (control yourselves little trembling tear-ducts)...

Stop! Thief!

Yeah, that'll be me if I manage to get anywhere near this golden beauty, shown at Kate Eary's show for MAN at LFW (which was AWESOME incidentally). Hello criminal record.

Her show was impeccably styled - rope motifs and golden epaulettes, mixed with graphic depictions of human internal organs, all on show as well as some truly stunning golden metal masks, mostly incomplete. Just stunning. Right up my magpie-esque street.

Peaches G on the front row, stomping in late, deliberately attached to her Blackberry, not so much. Ungrateful little blighter...

I have been appauled

by my diet over the past few weeks. A combination of over-work/over-play, travelling and downright laziness has resulted in eating vast amounts of gross stuff. On one particulary long/late night, I even resorted to the Golden Arches....yes, I know...

At least I don't live in the states - as depicted by this awesome visual, the temptation to err to the dark and calorific side could be far greater....

JOYLESS

I'm not gonna blog about NYFW or LFW. I'm just going to reflect on it when its all over if thats ok with you.

So far, I have enjoyed Cricket knits, berets, blue & yellow and metallic ruffles. Rest assured I am enjoying it all, I just dont feel the need to talk about it at length.

Going to Chris Shannon's show next week as I am MISSING the whole LFW weekend (due to cousin's wedding in no-wifi-land...raarr) so I am hoping that resurrects some joy in my life.

Thanksbye.

Aldo accessories

are getting a bit ridiculous at the moment!

Most bracelets are under a tenner and VERY friendly to the eyes. Et voila...

TRON

LEGACY. I have just seen the trailer which whilst managing to be faithful to the 1982 original, succeeds in being everything I would hope to see visually. Joseph Kosinski directs. Its expected out in December 2010 and will be one of Disney's flagship 3-D featured for the year.

Even more excited (if thats possible) to see if they do anything with the original soundtrack, which was written for the most part by Wendy Carlos (also did A Clockwork Orange and The Shining) but if rumours are to be believed then Daft Punk will be doing the honours...A-MAZE.

Here it is...

Perms/Nostalgia

Thoughts for today.

1) Is it ever ok to want a demi-weave? even for "body" puropses, if your hair is a bit fine?

2) MTV are re-making HEATHERS.

That's it for now.
